Day 1: Phnom Penh to Kampong Thom 160km.

We leave the busy and bustling street of Phnom Penh and ride to Kampong Chhnang. After lunch,  the afternoons ride takes us into remote villages with several river crossings by ferry. This is great back road riding through villages that are seldom,  if at all visited by tourists. A swim and cold beers at our hotel is always welcomed.

Day 2: Kampong Thom to Siem Reap 192km.

This is a fantastic days riding with a visit to the Kampong Khleang Stilted fishing villages the highlight.After we leave Kampong Thom we head off the main road and ride the back roads through fishing villages on the northern end of the Tonle Sap. Stopping along the way to chat to locals making local crafts and produce. After our boat ride through the stilted villages to Tonle Sap lake we have lunch followed by an afternoons ride to Siem Reap through the villages.

Day 3: Siem Reap ( rest day and visit to Angkor Wat temples).

For those wanting to visit the temples, we can arrange our English speaking guide and tuk tuk driver to pick you up at the hotel. ( Angkor Wat ticket is $37USD plus cost of the tuk tuk and guide).

Day 4: Siem Reap to Battambang 172km.

We have some main road riding before we cut across the northern end of the Tonle Sap and ride through rural villages with many beautiful temples along the way. After lunch we visit the famous Bamboo Train for a fun ride. After a swim and a beer or two at our hotel, those wanting to visit the incredible bat caves of Battambang can take a tuk tuk from the hotel followed by a visit to the centre of Battambang and its great French architecture and many restaurants.

Day 5: Battambang to Pursat 196km.

This is a big days ride but very rewarding. We ride to Pursat where we have lunch on the river followed by a back roads ride through remote villages to the incredible floating village of Kampong Luong. Get your camera ready as this is a tour highlight. We take a boat through the village and witness another world on the water. Our hotel is is Pursat and offers a swimming pool and massage/Spa.

Day 6: Pursat to O’soam 165km.

After an early morning walk through the biggest market in Cambodia we leave Pursat for our destination in the Cardamom Mountains. This is a casual countryside ride to Pramaoy, close to the Thai border. After lunch we wind our way up into O’soam village in the centre of the Cardamoms.

Day 7: O’soam to Tatai River 143km.

Today is a great ride ride out of the Cardamoms to Koh Kong a busy small fishing port. The afternoon ride is to the beautiful Tatai river where we leave the bikes for the rest of the day and night. A boat awaits us for a visit to the Tatai Waterfall for a refreshing swim.Then it’s off to our accommodation on the Tatai River.

Day 8: Tatai to Kampot 224km.

This is one of our biggest day rides  as we leave the Cardamom mountains for the coast and riverside small town of Kampot. Kampot is a great town to explore and has many French inspired restaurants and bars for a relaxing late afternoon and evening.

Day 9: Kampot, Bakor Mountain to Kep 152km.

A morning ride after breakfast to the top of Bokor Mountain is always exciting and fun along the winding roads to the top.
Lots of Pileated Gibbons add to the fun as they sit on the road and check us out from the trees. After lunch in Kampot we then visit the world famous Kampot Pepper farms to have a tour and tasting of these incredible peppers. Our destination for the evening is Kep a small coastal village.

Day 10: Kep to Phnom Penh 205km.

The final day does not disappoint as we leave beautiful Kep and head east through the villages  to the Vietnamese border a visit a 7th century temple. Lunch in Takeo and finally head north to Phnom Penh.
